Our Story

Sunnyville is the realized dream of the late Brad Bachmann and his wife Sarah. 

Long time residents of rural central Minnesota, the Bachmanns enjoyed the peace and tranquility of living surrounded by the outdoors. Wanting to share that experience with others, Brad and Sarah purchased 40 acres of land adjacent to their “home place” with the dream of transforming it into a beautiful and unique rental property developement. After years of persistency and hard work pursuing their passion, Sunnyville had been created.

 

After the death of her husband Brad in 2021, Sarah never lost sight of their dream and continued to see it to fruition.

 

Sunnyville residents can now enjoy a “minimalistic living” experience while enjoying nature at its best. Stroll along side the “Lazy River”, watch wildlife from within their own habitat, listen to the sounds of nature from your own front steps. Relax around the fire reminiscing about years gone by, or make new memories while listening to the song of frogs, coyotes howling in the distance or the owl saying “good night”.

 

Enjoy the budding of springtime wild flowers, the new life and growth of plants and animals through summer to the magical colors of fall.
